This section deals with special configurations and usage of Hotcakes.
Hotcakes is a huge hit in your small office/suburb. Now other departments/houses also want to hook up their ChilliSpot and Mikrotik devices up to your Hotcakes server.
You need to keep track which devices are using your Free Radius server.
You want to kick misbehaving users of the network, no matter which Access Point they are using.
You need to know what type of devices are on your network.
You need a graphical indication where these devices are situated.
Get a GPRS handheld device to jot down the latitude and longitude of each device which is destined to become part of your network.
Add these devices to the 'NAS Devices' list in Hotcakes.
On each device, specify the Free Radius server to use. Also specify the shared secret between Free Radius and the device.
Register your Hotcakes server with Google to get a map key in order to be used outside 'localhost'
